Our Cues are designed for real players— money players and pros alike. Nothing hits like a Schön.

When asked by our distributors how to sell a Schön, we tell them to put it in the customer’s hands. There’s a Schön for every player, but there’s no such thing as a cheap Schön. With a focus on hit and feel first, you can trust that Schön Cues will continue to hand-build the world’s most playable cues. Schön is a small company by choice and will never sell out to mass-production. We have remained a family owned company since the beginning, following in the visionary footsteps of our founder Terry Romine. Every cue which bears our name was built on 1 of 5 tables by a master craftsman who safeguard the practices, art, and engineering which define Schön Cues.
The world’s best players have used our cues on their path to greatness. Some noteworthy players on that list include Shane Van Boening, Johnny Archer, Buddy Hall “The Rifle”, Dallas West, Minnesota Fats, Willy Munson, Boston Shorty, Karen Corr, and the newest up-and-comer, Sergio Rivas. But don’t be mistaken, there are so many talented money players who earn a living hustling—and don’t want to be known—that trust and use Schön Cues. Terry Romine Sr. himself was a phenomenal money player. In pursuit of perfection Schön Cues was born in the back room of High Pockets North, and to this day the spirit of our company lives and breathes in every billiard room across America.

Schon STL, Schon CX, Schon SP, Schon LTD, Schon Elite and Schon Unique.

Schon STL cues are a collection of 21 cues which are the classic favorites from all our years of cue making, a combination of the R series, the SP series, the SL series and the ST series.

Schon CX cues are a collection of cues made exclusively for Cuestix International and may only be purchased through a Cuestix dealer.

schon sp cues

Schon SP cues are special cues which are not made on a regular basis. There is no set number and no naming system. The edition could be 1 or 2 cues or 30 cues.

Schon LTD are special limited edition cues made in small lots of 12 cues or less, one time only.

Schon Elite cues are made in an edition of no more than 7 cues, one time only.

Schon Unique cues are one of a kind cues. No duplicates will be made, ever.

 

 

High Standard of Excellence in Every Cue, Guaranteed!

Schon Cues are a standard 58″ cue. Weights range from 19 oz. to about 21 oz. and extra lengths may be obtained by use of a longer shaft. All materials are high quality and of high integrity.  We utilize a Phenolic lined stainless steel joint and stainless steel pin. Butt plates are high impact delrin. The joint is piloted and mates with a phenolic cushioned brass insert on the shaft.

Our shafts are considered to be interchangeable. In most instances, a new shaft will screw on to your cue without problems, however, screw threads have idiosyncrasies and we prefer a fairly snug fit. Some tweaking may be required. The shafts are interchangeable BECAUSE we can match it to the cue at the very end of the process. This allows us to create our distinctive hit!!

Shafts are available in diameter from 11.5mm to 14mm and in length from 18″ to 32″. We offer our standard Schon ferrules. Tips are our own Schon tips. Special tapers are available on request..
