Nice cue – but I ordered (through Doc’s Cues) this cue in gray, like shown in the picture.. It came with clear birds-eye maple – not gray. With all the delays associated with this order, coupled with some “new guy” who allegedly shipped it to the wrong dealer, I received this cue 3 days before the tournaments started…even though it was promised to be here a month earlier.. I’m very happy with the quality of the cue – as this is my second one after what (I believe to be) a Schon “Unique” I’ve had since the early ’90s. I love their cues – just rather unhappy with the order goof-up. The dealer tried for over a half-hour to have someone there answer a phone to discuss this order but it was either busy or it rang without anyone picking it up.. If the owner’s too busy, then HIRE SOMEONE ANSWER THE DANG PHONE!!! I have no further time to waste waiting for the correctly colored cue so I accepted this one.
Again, it’s a beautiful product – but the company needs to get their customer service act together.. FWIW.

Had a Schon back in the 90’s I believe very similar to the stl 17 replete with the white oval inlays on the butt and four white points. Loved it!!! Gave up the game for a lot of years 😢. On the current stl 17 I don’t like the gray stain. What are my options?
